This year's conference sees a significant increase in the accommodation costs compared to previous conferences in Wellington. To help keep the conference affordable for young people, we have increased the fundraising goals this year. Any contributions towards the conference would be sincerely appreciated.

Conference Fees

All conference fees are due by 17th January 2026. Any attendees who do not provide payment by 17th January 2026, will be transferred to the waiting list.

Cancellations prior to 1st February 2026 are entitled to a full refund of any fees paid, less the non-refundable deposit.

Cancellations on or after 1 February 2026 will not be entitled to a refund as we are required to pay the venue prior to the conference.

Workers: $340 total (includes a $50 non-refundable deposit)

Non-workers: $300 total (includes a $50 non-refundable deposit)
Deposits

A $50 deposit within 2 weeks is required to secure your booking.

All deposits paid to secure your booking (or position on the waiting list) are
Non-refundable. The deposit also secures a copy of the note's book, regardless of whether you withdraw.
Considerations

Notwithstanding the above, any attendee who cancels their position in the conference, or can't make the fees due date, may make a submission to the committee (nzyc2026@gmail.com) to have the policy review on personal, family, or financial
hardship grounds
