NZYC Guidelines

The aim of the conference is to provide opportunities with like minded young people to grow in their friendships and relationships. To focus on creating a Godly environment separate from the world. To encourage people from God’s Word. 

Our conference hosts have the responsibility of ensuring an environment meeting the
conference objectives. We are to respect their instructions and decisions at all times.

1. The basis of fellowship at the Conference is the BASF without reservation
    

2. Please attend all organised activities on time so that the conference can run smoothly.
    

3. Remain within the conference site boundaries unless granted specific permission to leave by one of the hosts.
    

4. Men are not allowed in women’s rooms and vice-versa.
    

5. Personal electronic devices can distract us and detract from the atmosphere of the camp, please keep their use to an absolute minimum.
    

6. Please do not bring alcohol (emblems excepted), tobacco, or other recreational drugs to the conference.
    

7. For both men and women dress must show the principles of modesty and separation from the world. Formal attire is preferred for the memorial meeting and head coverings are considered scriptural for sisters. At all other sessions, dress should not be casual, but respectful of the above principles. Modest shorts/pants are acceptable for women during recreational activities.
    

8. As relating to the above principles, speedos and bikinis are not considered appropriate togs.
